Our Tanzanian highlights journey is a 3 stop journey within the major highlights of the Northern safari circuit. Highlights include Ngorongoro Crater, then the eastern Serengeti and finally the Northern Serengeti.
We will enjoy Tanzanian highlights, Ngorongoro Crater, then the South Eastern Serengeti, OR the Northern Serengeti.
Delta Airlines, KLM, Ethiopian Airlines all service this route regularly, with either a stop en route in Europe, Nairobi or Addis.
Starts every Monday at Kilimanjaro International Airport and ends on a Sunday back in Kilimanjaro International Airport. This is not a group tour, but a private tour for 2 or more guests wanting the flexibility of going at their own pace on day tours, smaller owner-run accommodations with a high focus on privacy and personal attention.
“Everything we needed was taken care of by the very helpful and friendly staff, including all kosher meals and safari drives. The effort they go through, to set up Kosher catering in the most remote safari wilderness areas in Africa's premier national parks, is astounding. We felt truly spoilt ” - Family Stern, Israel

Tanzania is for many, a bucket list, once in a lifetime experience. The high national park fees and tourism taxes, as well as U$ dollar-based costs, does make it a fairly expensive exercise, but it is totally doable, with the right itinerary, for the Kosher market. There are very few Jewish people living in this nation, so we fly our private Kosher chefs into the nation from neighbouring or nearby countries.

Wednesday:
After breakfast, provisioned with a lovely picnic lunch we will descend down into the plains of the Ngorongoro Crater. From there we enjoy safari viewing for the day, and a lovely picnic and leg stretch in the middle of the crater eco system, which is grasslands, lakes and distant forested crater walls.

After breakfast, we will take the outer roads, around the crater, and head directly into the southern Serengeti region. Dependant on the time of year we will head up to the northeastern Serengeti to Elewana Serengeti Migration camp, or drive to the southern Serengeti, to stay at Elewana Serengeti Pioneer camp. The journey itself is long, and yet very scenic and wildlife en route is common, especially once you enter the Ndutu region between the NCAA area and the Serengeti. After a lengthy day en route to our camp, we will relax in camp, and enjoy sundowners overlooking the Serengeti plains, and a welcome dinner.
5
Friday:
Morning and afternoon safaris are planned to track/ head to the larger herds that form part of the Great Migration. From there we will also ensure we return 2 hours before sunset to prepare for the start of Shabbat.

Saturday :
Full day at leisure for Shabbat. Subject to availability and approval from park authorities, we might be able to offer you a guided walking safari that starts directly from the camp itself for a maximum of 2 hours.
7
Sunday:
Morning final safari drive, and breakfast, and then head to either Lobo Airstrip (when staying at Elewana Serengeti Migration camp) or Seronera airstrip (when staying at Elewana Serengeti Pioneer camp) and fly back to Kilimanjaro international airport, to connect onto your return flight internationally. (Again if you found the connections out of Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta airport, were more frequent and easier to return home, we can arrange a short return transfer flight from Kilimanjaro airport, in Tanzania, back to Nairobi, in Kenya for your evening flight back home).
